Fax Transmission
(PC Fax)
The user can transmit and receive
fax through SIMADO GDT11. This helps
in sending and receiving fax messages
from a computer using fax software
like WinFax, Mighty Fax, etc. For
this function to work, a separate
subscription is required from the
GSM service provider who assigns
a different number on the same SIM
card.
General Packet
Radio Services (GPRS)
The GSM engine used in the SIMADO
GDT11 is GPRS Class 10 enabled.
It supports Internet browsing and
email send-receive using this data
packet service provided by the GSM
network. When connected with a proxy
server, the SIMADO GDT11 allows
multiple people to browse the Internet
simultaneously by sharing the bandwidth
available. For this function to
work, a separate subscription is
required from the GSM service provider
who assigns a different number on
the same SIM card.
Data Communication
The Matrix SIMADO GDT11 can also
be used for data communication between
two computers. Remote login and
file transfer are two of the many
possible applications.
Short Message Services
(SMS)
SMS usage is very widespread all
over the world. The SIMADO GDT11
can be used as SMS node for individual
SMS send and receive requirements.
It can also be connected with the
enterprise SMS Server for sending
and receiving bulk SMS. The SIMADO
GDT11 can work with existing SMS
application software running on
a PC.
AT Commands Interface
The SIMADO GDT11 offers access to
all the standard AT commands provided
by its internal GSM engine. This
facilitates various novel and customized
applications to be built. Remote
Monitoring and Controlling, Data
Acquisition, Login and Configuration
are just few of the endless possibilities. |
